A graduate of the Ontario
College of Art and Design, Florence was a graphic designer in Toronto for
many years. On moving to Prince Edward County she began to work
with clay. Pure in form and engaging in personality, her whimsical animal
sculptures portray unique and childlike characters, expressing warmth,
tenderness and humour. Individually hand crafted from slabs of clay without the use of molds, these sculptures are all originals and no two are exactly alike. Florence’s work is regularly exhibited in Toronto, Kingston, Ottawa and the Quinte region. She is represented by Delvalle's Art Corner and Covent Garden Fine Art Gallery. |
